Bulging or Pulling Feeling
Pelvic Floor Dysfunction (PFD) is a relatively common experience that occurs when the muscles supporting the bladder, bowel, and reproductive organs weaken, tighten, or become otherwise imbalanced.

PFD may be caused by pregnancy and childbirth, hormonal changes and aging, chronic strain from physical exertion or constipation, surgical procedures that cause scarring or other changes to the tissue, or injury and trauma from falls and other accidents.

Luckily, we have a solution! Pelvic health physiotherapy is a safe and effective non-invasive option to rebuild pelvic floor muscles, as well as strengthen the core, lower back, and hips. Sessions include exercises, stretches, manual therapy, or electrical stimulation. Overall, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy benefits bladder health, bowel health, sexual health, organ support, and core strength. You don't need to have pre-existing conditions to see the benefits either! Try Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy pre- and post-natally.
